Slurrp Farm is a Gurugram-based startup that was brought into function by friends, who are mothers too, Shauravi Malik and Meghana Narayan.

The co-founders of Slurrp Farms are truly dedicated to the healthy and nutritious consumption of products and hence decided to offer healthier snacks as well as mealtime options for the younger ones.

Slurrp Farm started in 2016, is a millet-based packaged food startup whose whole idea was to bring grains like Bajra, Jowar, and Ragi into people’s diets.

Previously they provided food options for children but now they have expanded their varieties of products for adult space too!

They say that choosing their healthier product like multigrain cereal, grain powders, millet dosa, puffed snacks, and cookies will keep them free from eating junk and keep them energized the whole day.

The firm sells its products on marketplaces like Amazon, Big Basket, and FirstCry and on their official website.

They have also made the product available throughout various outlets across retail chains like FoodHall, Modern Bazaar, Spencers, and many more. During the covid-19 pandemic, the firm growth increased by 3 times.

The company has expanded its online grocery shopping portals across Singapore, UAE, and India.

The company has aimed for growing its Annual Recurring  Revenue (ARR) to $5- $6 Million in the next 12 months.

The firm has decided to increase their existing portfolio of 25 products to 30 in the upcoming months with the help of their R&D team, their nutritionist, and pediatricians who will guide them to offer good quality food.

Slurrp Farm Raises $2 Million In Series A

In June 2018, during pre-series A funding round, SlurrpFarm raised $1 Million from Ashish Dhawan of Central Square Foundation, Aditya Ghosh who is the board member of Fab India, and Oyo, Sanjeev  Bhikchandani of Info Edge.

Gurugram based startup has recently raised $2 Million in series A funding round from Fireside Ventures who are focused on investing in various businesses during their growth stages.

Kanwaljit Singh, Founder and Managing Partner of Fireside Ventures stated that they are thrilled to invest in a company whose innovative idea is to spread a culture of a healthier lifestyle with better quality food.

The company has decided to use these funds in product innovation because of their increasing demand which will help them cater better.

The company has decided to expand its geographical footprints in UAE and open in more Indian cities and help people shift towards a healthy lifestyle regarding snacks.
