AIIMS Director, RandeepGuleria, and two other doctors have worked on a new book that will focus on how India fought against covid-19 and how to deal, in the upcoming days, with the pandemic.
Penguin Random House, book’s publishing house, has announced the same on Monday, 2nd November 2020.
The book is co-written byChandrakantLahariya, a leading public policy and health system expert, and Gagandeep Kang, a vaccine researcher and virologist. The co-written book by these experts will be available this month.
The pandemic has caused large-scale destruction when covid-19 hit our country and the book will tell a story of our country where we dealt, without any earlier preparations, against the pandemic, Covid-19.
Despite the odds, India focussed to pull together and tackle the pandemic crisis successfully, said Randeep Guleria.
The book covers the inner strength and unity realization within the people on walks of their life in the country of culture and diversity. The book is described as the “book of hope which carries on with India’s ability to fight against the virus.
The book covers essential questions in mind namely- How long will we have to go on wearing masks? Will a need for masks be necessary after the vaccine is developed? or What if the effective treatment against COVID-19 is not discovered?
The book will also help people explore how the pandemic was a blessing in disguise in terms of strength.
The book will be published to enlighten the physical and potential transformation in the public health of the Indians. The book will build a source of power, from the general public to political leaders, policymakers to physicians.
Inspiring and talented figures- Dr. RandeepGuleria, Dr. Gagandeep Kang, and Dr. Chandrakant Lahariya were deeply involved in writing a book for inspiring the nation with their fight and courage to stand against covid-19.
The motive of releasing this book will be to win the hearts of its readers and built a level of confidence in them after they get to know about their foremost support.
