PUBG Corp Is Hiring In India: Is PUBG Coming Back?

It’s been more than a month since PUBG Mobile got banned in India. Bunches of unclear possibilities are roaming with numerous rumours from live streamers on the return of PUBG Mobile in India.

Possibilities rose again from the dead after PUBG Corporation uploaded a recruitment notice on their official LinkedIn profile for the role of “Corporate development division manager for the Indian region”.

The recruitment notice was uploaded for people who can support the PUBG Mobile process in India with guidance from headquarters.

The job posting or the recruitment notice’s primary focus stays on the overall strategy and investments focusing on the Indian market.

However, a slight confusion might occur due to the mention of PUBG and not PUBG Mobile in the recruitment notice.

On 2nd September the Indian IT ministry banned 118 Chinese applications, including royal battle game PUBG.

India contributed over 24% of the worldwide PUBG userbase.

After the ban of PUBG Mobile season revenue dropped spectacularly from $221 Million to $198 Million, according to the Sensor Data reports.

The results dropped the position of PUBG Mobile to second place in the highest-earning games worldwide.

To bring the PUBG mobile back in India, corporations decided to cut their ties with Tencent, a Chinese Giant, which they thought might increase the chance for them to regain their position in India.

As the company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans. PUBG Corporation fully understands and respects the measures taken by the government as the privacy and security of player data is a top priority for the company,” said PUBG corporation in response to the ban.
