LPU Jalandhar Student Develops Solar-Powered SmartBus


LPU: Students from Punjab’s Lovely Professional University (LPU) have developed a sun-powered driverless smartbus. It was displayed at the 106th edition of the Indian Science Congress (ISC). The bus, which could run at a pace of 30 km according to an hour, took twelve months to be programmed. It has a capacity of 10 to 30 people and can travel up to 70 km on a single go.

LPU: The absolutely pollutants-unfastened bus has been priced at Rs 6 lakh. It uses most effective renewable energy within the form of electrical motor and solar energy for propulsion. The event was inaugurated by means of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jalandhar.

The bus, which took 365 days to programme, is full of some terrific capabilities. It can run at a speed of 30 km in step with an hour. It has the ability of 10 to 30 human beings and can tour up to 70 kilometers on a single go.
